CNN, Politico and MS NOW have taken their exclusion to federal court, while ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and CNN have closed ranks over the disruption of the White House television pool.

The launch comes amid an escalating dispute between the Trump administration and several major news organisations over White House press access.
